Business Development Engineer
Fadex Trading is looking are seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer to maximise sales revenue, growth and profit within allocated markets and network and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
The successful candidate will be working in a challenging but relaxed environment and will be offered clear progression opportunities within business. The engineer will be required to take the ownership of the work they are undertaking in the following areas:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish new client pools and target repeated business wins by engaging and leading promotion campaigns.
- Grow relationship with existing clients using dynamic assessment of their business needs
- Bring continuous improvements within datasheets to for easy browsing experience to customers about services and products offered by the company.
- Serve as technical author for templates to achieve standardisation of technical inputs.
- Assemble QA documentations for achieving and maintaining ISO accreditation.
- Write high quality reports with professional layout and contents targeting customer business and technical departments.
- Maintain effective internal and communication via reporting tools and coordinate the customer requirements within all operational functions within company.
- Lead technical and business meetings while promoting company standards.
- Propose new business models and cooperate with business managers.
- Work closely with product division and web developers to improve company’s website content.
- Study market behavior and trends to develop suitable forecasting models.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- University degree within suitable engineering discipline, preferably chemical engineering.
- Solid professional experience in sales
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Robust verbal and written communication skills.
- Good command in software and tools including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint Office, Primavera, and Tableau.
- Intercultural competence coupled with good commercial acumen.
- Willingness to make trips on client premises as required by the business.
